My roommate and I are leaving our 2 bed 2 full bath apartment and are looking for someone to take over our lease of $1325 per month. Our place is walking distance to the HSC campus (we're located on the Chicago St and Charlotte St directly across from the new county). Our place includes a fridge, full kitchen, A/C, heater, and gated parking. Utilities cost about $70/month and include electricity, gas, phone-line, and DSL (water is free). There are a number of medical, pharmacy and public health students living in this building, and I'd like to keep it that way by passing this place on to the next line of students. This place is very convenient especially if you travel back and forth to the new county hospital a lot or just like to wake up late for class ;-) For MPH students, there's a tram to take you to the Alhambra campus next to the Norris Cancer Center (corner of Eastlake and San Pablo). The place is pretty safe, being located next to the hospital with police and DPS patrolling the area. Hi! So, I have a place for the rest of the semester, but am somewhat dissatisfied with it. It's cheap rent, but I don't have space in the kitchen and live with some couples...so not quite ideal. I wanted to know if anyone else is reconsidering their living situation and want to switch it up for the next semester? I'd then be going international for my practicum over the summer. Just thought I'd throw it out there :)
